The Imbewu Trust is a non-profit organization founded to promote and develop South African Arts at a local and international level. Conceived and founded by Sam de Romijn and Paul Griffiths, and run by them, with Paul Dickson as the financial manager and Zolani M. Mahola as Brand Ambassador.

Long-term goals for the Imbewu Trust include establishing a sustainable bursary fund for tertiary education at an arts institution, and its current projects include the national SCrIBE Scriptwriting Competition (founded 2012), The Scribblers Dream (a mentoring project for playwrights), the Imbewu Showcase in New York (2012) and the Fly Free Graduates Bursary for graduates of the Waterfront Theatre School.
