Le Testament de Madame Patural ("Madame Patural's will") is a French comedy in one act by Émile Souvestre (1806-1854)[1].
Also found with a subtitle, as Le Testament de Madame Patural, ou Ce qui Vient du Trompette s'en Va au Tambour ("Madame Patural's will, or what comes from the trumpet goes to the drum").

Translated into Dutch as Het Testament van de Weduwe Poot ("The will of widow Poot [literally 'paw']") by J.J. Cohen Stuart and published in Amsterdam by G. Theod. Bom,1875.

Performance history in South Africa
