De Oude en Die Nieuwe Tijd ("The old and the new times") is a comic duologue by an anonymous author.

The original text

From the title it would appear that it may have been a local product, written in a mix standard old Dutch and more modern Cape Dutch. Unpublished.

1909: Performed as De Oude en Die Nieuwe Tijd by Aurora III as their first production in the ANV Saal, Cape Town, on 3 August, with Di Koekdief (by "Nemo") and the operetta Kluchtige Gerechtszitting.
