De Kater, of De Verdronken Minnaar ("the hangover, or the drowned lover") is a Dutch comedy in two acts by L. van Hogezand (fl 1870s).

The original text
Referred to as a "character sketch", it was written for the Rederijkers by the Kimberly based author and was probably first performed there by the Diggers' Aurora, since Hoogezand was the Kimberley association's Vice President. .
