First produced at the Coliseum, London on August 13, 1917.

Published in London, by Samuel French, Ltd. (London and New York) in 1917.

Translations and adaptations

Adapted for radio and broadcast by the newly established African Broadcasting Company , performed by the ABC Drama Company in 1928, as its first production. This sparked off a tremendous interest in radio drama as a medium in South Africa.
