Die Suid-Afrikaan was an Afrikaans-language monthly published in Stellenbosch by Hermann Gilliomee and André Du Toit.

Founded in 1984, the journal was very progressive for its time and published an eclectic and wide-ranging mix of articles on serious subjects, mainly in Afrikaans.

Among the journalists with theatre links who regularly wrote for it were Antjie Krog,

It stopped publication in 1994.
