El reino de Dios is a play in three acts written in 1916 by Spanish writer, poet, dramatist, and theatre director Gregorio Martínez Sierra (1881-1947) [1].
Translations and adaptations
Translated into Afrikaans, entitled Die Grootste Koninkryk.
An English version, entitled The Kingdom of God, by Helen and Harley Granville-Barker was published by Sidgwick and Jackson in 1927.
Performance history in South Africa
1936: The Kingdom of God was presented by the University of Cape Town's Speech and Drama Department at the Little Theatre in June, directed by Ruth Peffers.
1943: Die Grootste Koninkryk was produced by ADK in 1943.
