Carter Ebrahim (19*-) was a theatre practitioner, reviewer and politician.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Theatre reviewer for S’Ketsh (*??). He wrote a review of the South African Black Theatre Union's first national theatre festival in 1972.

He was the Minister of Education and Culture for the House of Representatives (the “coloured” chamber of the ** SA government until January 1988.

He did the decor for The Perfect Alibi (1944), appeared on stage in The Tragedy of Nan (1945) and produced Street Scene in 1952.
