He appeared in the NTO productions Die Ryk Weduwee (1953), Ek Onthou vir Mamma (1954), Gelukkige Dae (1955), Verkiesing sonder politiek! (1955-1956), Bohaai oor 'n Otjie (in the lead as "Krischan Lamken", 1956), Ai, Die Liewe Martha! (1957) and Skrikkeljaar (1958).
