The play is about the internationally renowned South African-born painter and musician Gerard Sekoto (1913-1993) [1].

2006: Produced 14 July to 20 August at the Market Theatre, directed by Fiona Ramsay, with Vanessa Cooke (Else), Chantelle Herman (chorus), Lawrence Joffe (gentleman/hobo), Harriet Manamela-Luhabe (Matsatsi), Warren Masemola (chorus/Diego), Dawid Minnaar (Raymond), Chantal Nativel (Marthe), Tshireletso Nkoane (Oshidi), Sello Sebotsane (Gerard Sekoto) . Choreography by Portia Lebohang Mashigo, voice coaching by Gcina Nhlapo (coach) and lighting design by Wilhelm Disberg).
