The Sonop Afrikaner Kring ("The sunrise Afrikaner cirle") is a cultural organisation, founded by Schalk Theron in Johannesburg in 1939.
Among their activities were theatrical presentations, including Die Goue Tempel (1942), Die Ongeluksvoël (lit "The bad luck bird") under Theron's direction.
