She was well-known in amateur roles in Pretoria. She made het debut for the NTO as the princess in Ninotsjka and had roles in Gister en Vandag and Verkiesing sonder politiek!. She has also appeared in The Happiest Days of Your Life, Rashomon, Die Koopman van Venesië (Volksteater 1950) and Germanicus.
