Nyebho Swartbooi (19**-). Actor.

Biography

Nyebho was born and raised in Rini (Grahamstown). He encounteres theatre and performance at school. His aptitude for performance and praise poetry quickly identified him and he steadily gained a reputation as an outstanding performer.

His experience in theatre was extended through work with the Back Yard Artists and several contributions to the Grahamstown Potjie programmes and he has performed in two Studio Project productions. The first: A Dream of Rini wa a workshop play based on the lives of the cast members in contemporary Rini under the direction of Andrew Buckland. The following year he played in A Labyrinth of Dreams directed by Likhaya Ngandi. He had a role in Makana, 2001.
