Eden is a play by Gabriella Pinto. A psychological thriller set in a world of rumours, nameless individuals, watchful eyes and eavesdropping ears. Imprisoned by authorities on an apple farm, a street sweeper attempts to learn the truth in order to escape but struggles against the nature of power, secrecy and survival in a draconian state.

2012: First performed at the Grahamstown Festival (NAF), in 2012 by The Poor Artists Collective, written and directed by Gabriella Pinto. The Assistant Director is Iman Isaacs, music by Dylan Owen, photographs by Ella Gabriel, and the performers are Siya Sikawuti, Oliver Booth, Stefan Erasmus, James Macgregor, Iman Isaacs, Electra Nathania Hartman
