He was born on the 25th of January 1963 in Jagersfontein, Free State, South Africa.
Youth
Training
He did a course in speech and drama at the Rand Afrikaans University, now the University of Johannesburg, in the mid-1980s.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He has appeared in Playboys (as Dick, 1990), Stepping Out (2006).
He has played principle roles in films such as Reason to Die, Red Scorpion and Merchants of War and played a lead in the television series Ballade vir 'n Enkeling.
