He apparently did some concerts from time to time, and possibly worked on French performances in the early 1800s. In 1809  he brought together a personal company to perform two French plays, ''[[Une Folie]]'' (Bouilly) and something by an unnamed author, billed as "''[[La Comédie Universelle]]'', in three acts, interspersed with some songs".  Boucherville sold the tickets himself and played the role of "Florival" in ''[[Une Folie]]''.
