Born Dennistoun Franklyn John Rose-Price in Twyford in Berkshire, went to Oxford and studied acting at the Embassy Theatre School of Acting. Became a film and TV actor, most widely remembered for his roles in Kind Hearts and Coronets and P.G. Wodehouse’s Jeeves stories.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Came to South Africa in 1957 to star in Terence Rattigan’s Separate Tables, for Brian Brooke.
