Biography
Giempie was born in District Six and started singing at the age of seven.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
A singer turned actor he has presented himself in cabaret and various variety shows throughout South Africa. He was one of the Sexy Boys in District Six – The Musical, played Ougat in the popular musical Fairyland and Chicco in Poison. He has also appeared in Remembering the Lux, Off the Cuff.
