J. Foster (17**-18**) was a soldier and actor.
A member of the 72 Highlanders, who performed in the barracks during the period 1823-28). Foster played "Capt. Haselton" in their production of Paul Pry and "Alfred Highflier" in A Roland for an Oliver.
