Biography
Her daughter is the agent Moonyeenn Lee.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Performed in The Light of Heart by Emlyn Williams for the REPS in 1943. Other productions include They Came to a City, Laura, Life With Father, The Corn is Green, all in the 1940s for the Johannesburg Repertory Society.
She starred in Sandy Wilson’s The Boy Friend which was staged at the Brooke Theatre in May 1957.
She played the title role in Auntie Mame, Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee’s adaptation of Patrick Dennis’s book which Taubie Kushlick directed at the Brooke in 1965. Adam Leslie did costumes.
