Amanda Tiffin (19**- ) is a South African singer, pianist, composer and arranger.

Biography

She was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and moved to Cape Town in 1991 to study science at UCT but was permanently distracted and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Studies). Graduated from the College of Music at the University of Cape Town in 1999 with a Masters Degree in jazz composition and vocal performance.

Career

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She was the musical director for The Shakespeare Revue, A Circus Side Show.

She was cast as the singing, piano-playing Amelia in Much Ado about Nothing, Maynardville, January-February 2005.

Awards, etc

Amanda was nominated for a Vita Award, Best Performance in Music Theatre for her role in The Shakespeare Revue.
