First performed in Paris at the Comédie Italienne on 26 November 1781.
First published Paris : Lawalle L'Écuyer, 1784, revised before 1813 and again 1823-1824.

Performed in Cape Town by the pupils of J. Riaux on 27 October 1810, with as afterpiece Het Liefdenest.
