The play 30 characters, 24 men en 6 women, plus a number of non-speaking roles ("figurante").
Written in 1916(?), published by H.A.U.M. (Pretoria, Amsterdam and Cape Town) in 1921, and later by J.H. De Bussy, Pretoria, in 1939.
1917: Performed in Graaff Reinet , directed by S.F.N. Gie and Pieter Pohl.
