La Paix chez soi (Peace at Home) is a 1903 comedy in one act by French dramatist Georges Courteline (1858-1929) [1].

Performance history in South Africa
1971: Vrede Tuis was staged by PACT, directed by Truida Louw, featuring George Ballot (Theo) and Annette Engelbrecht (Valentine).
1975: Vrede Tuis was staged by Universiteitsteater Stellenbosch in the H.B. Thom Theatre in October, directed by Ria Olivier, starring Jannie Blanckenberg, Eugenie Kemp and Elmé Gildenhuys.
