He was born in Stellenbosch and matriculated from Kayamandi Highschool in 1998.
He has worked on music and drama productions at the Klein Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch.
Acting career includes roles in Amaza by Z.S. Qanqule (Artscape Theatre 2009), Elke Duim 'n Koning, **** Musical Director for **, Karoo Moose.
He was responsible, with Adriaan Brandt, for the music for the production of Waarom is dié wat voor toi-toi altyd so vet?, 1999.
