VWV calls itself a "global brand experience agency". Originally founded by Mark Steinhobel as an ad agency called Warrick & Associates in 1982, and changed to VideoSound Warrick Vision, or VWV, in 1988, after he had bought the company VideoSound. The company later expanded to the USA (2007-8).

Two key aspects of their work are large scale event production and management.
