Performance history in South Africa
In 1966 PACT's rural tour was cancelled because of objections to the play (Smith, 1990, p46).
Directed by Bartho Smit for PACOFS in 1969. The cast included Louw Verwey and Ernst Eloff.
Directed by Louw Odendaal at Die Masker Theatre to celebrate the University of Pretoria Drama Department's 25th birthday. The cast: Carel Trichardt, Petru Wessels, Fred Steyn, André Lombard. Decor by Peter Walter.
