A performer for the Dalle Case Company. Referred to as "die kleine Hamoy" ("the tiny Hamoy") by F.C.L. Bosman (1928[1], pp. 436-7), he most probably a pantomime and circus performer who had come to the Cape with the Italian Circus of Messrs Severo and Dalle Case.
