Written in 1808, published in Neueste deutsche Schaubühne by Bolling, 1810

Translations and adaptations

Translated into Dutch as De Verstrooiden by J.S. van Esveldt-Holtrop in 1809. Sometimes appears with the subtitle "of het door verstrooidheid bewerkt huwelijk".

Performance history in South Africa
