Subtitled "Een historisch Kaapsch verhaal uit de 18de eeuw" and published by Jacques Dusseau, Amsterdam / Kaapstad, z.j. in 1898. Originally written in Dutch, it was translated into Afrikaans in 1926 by P.C. Schoonees.
