First produced (24 May-10 June 2000) in the Arena Theatre at the Nico Malan Theatre Complex in Cape Town by the Barnstormers directed by Jill Fletcher, with Ralph Lawson (André Huguenet), Mary Dreyer (Elsa Fouché and Anna Neethling-Pohl), Johann Nel (Johann Nell), Paul Huckle (Siegfried Mynhardt), Noël Oostendorp (Mr Polikansky), Alan Knibbs (the young F.W. de Klerk).
