His first major role was creating and performing the original “Mingus” in Sophiatown by Junction Avenue Theatre Company. * Cry Freemandela – The Movie (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1988) He starred in Barney Simon’s Starbrites which was staged at the Market in September 1990, MacBeki (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 2009). Scorched Earth (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1989)
Molepo has acted in numerous theatre productions including Barney Simon's Starbrites at the Market Theatre in September 1990, Pieter-Dirk Uys's Scorched Earth (1989) and MacBeki (2009), Sisyphus, Nongogo, Dikichining, Marabi, Sauer Street and Sizwe Bansi is Dead.
