There are numerous (and an increasing number of ) festivals or theatre competitions in South Africa. Usually annual events, they are made up of different individual performances, but in fact also constitute theatrical events or performances in themselves.
For Public Events and Pageants, see Pageants and Public Events in section IV of South African Stage Plays
Because they can of course also be seen as Venues for other events, they may also be listed in the Venues section.
