Produced in English (as Romeo and Jeanette, translated by Miriam John) by PACT in 1963 (directed by Richard Daneel, starring Fiona Fraser, Bess Finney, Arthur Hall, Siegfried Mynhardt and others).
Produced in Afrikaans (Romeo en Jeanette) by NTO in 1960, directed by Suzanne van Wyk, starring Ria Olivier and Robert Mohr in the Bellville Civic Theatre.
