Dit is Oujaarsaand 1990 wanneer Gideon le Roux, ’n oud-dienspligtige, effens onder die invloed, vir Martinus Zoeloe by ’n skougrond êrens in die platteland ontmoet. Martinus is die sekerheidswag by die skou, en ’n oud-Swapo vegter. Sy donker geheime is sekuur weg gesluit, of só dink hy . . .
