A Dutch translation of the French 3-act tragedy Les deux Francs-maçons, ou les coups du hasard by Benoît Pelletier-Volméranges. First performed Paris, at the Théâtre de l'Impératrice et Reine (1808-1818), 25th May 1808.

Published in Dutch as De Twee Vrijmetselaars in Amsterdam, 1808.


Performance history in South Africa

Performed in Stellenbosch on 8 November 1834 by Het Hollandsche Tooneellievend en Vereenigd Muzyk Gezelschap, with the musical comedy 't Zal laat Worden (Meyer)
