(b. **/**/**** - d. **/**/****).  Actor.  Little is known about Abie Baker, but his name appears in the cast list of [[Graham Moffat]]’s play ''A Scrape o’ the Pen'' as performed at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne in October 1915.  This Scottish actor, director and playwright’s company toured South Africa in 1921, but prior to this Baker took the part of Alphonse in [[H. Lisle Lucoque]]’s film version of [[Allan Quatermain]] (1919) for [[African Film Productions]]. (FO)
