She wrote speeches, prologues and even a play (Attica in Africa) for performance at the Barracks Theatre. She also insisted on referring to the Hospital Theatre as "Sea-line". She wrote a prologue to their first production of Foote's Taste (Lady Anne Barnard called it Teazle).
