A centralized booking office for theatres and cinemas in Johannesburg, started by [[Percy Tucker]] in 1954. [[Leon Gluckman]] and [[Audrey Cobden]] became partners. It was was converted into a private company in 1956. The [[Johannesburg Reps]] handed their box-office to [[Show Service]] in October 1958. [[Pat Bray]] joined [[Show Service]] as [[Percy Tucker]]’s second-in-command in February 1960, the same year they moved premises from African City Arcade to Rand Central in Jeppe Street They also secured a share in [[ACT]]’s ticket selling in 1960 and first became involved with cinema in the same year. [[Aubrey Louw]] took over from [[Pat Bray]] as Tucker’s personal assistant in 1966

A centralized booking office for theatres and cinemas in Johannesburg, started by Percy Tucker in 1954. Leon Gluckman and Audrey Cobden became partners. It was was converted into a private company in 1956. The Johannesburg Reps handed their box-office to Show Service in October 1958. Pat Bray joined Show Service as Percy Tucker’s second-in-command in February 1960, the same year they moved premises from African City Arcade to Rand Central in Jeppe Street They also secured a share in ACT’s ticket selling in 1960 and first became involved with cinema in the same year. Aubrey Louw took over from Pat Bray as Tucker’s personal assistant in 1966

This business was the foundation of what would later become Computicket.
