Developed as an outreach and community-centered initiative bringing educational and theatrical arts directly into streets and local communities, the programme featured cultural productions, including Don Mattera's plays Kagiso Sechaba (a children's play inspired by Malaika McKenzie) and One Time Brother.

It was also involved in the publication of the theatre journal Speak and the theatre project known as Open School on the Move.
