Biography
Born in Cape Town.
Training
She matriculated from the Johannesburg Art, Ballet, Drama and Music School. She trained and graduated from UCT Drama School with a Performer's Diploma in 1995.
Career
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Her work as a student includesTwelfth Night, Asjas Passie, Blood on the Cat's Neck.
Her debut on the professional stage was as Elizabeth in Elizabeth (CAPAB, 1996). She acted in The Winter's Tale (CAPAB, 1997), Turkish Delights (Tesson Theatre, 1998), Dancing at Lughnasa (Baxter Theatre, 1998), Fiela's Child - The Musical (CAPAB, 1999), Noises Off (Montecasino Theatre and the Theatre on the Bay, 2005), London Road (Kalk Bay Theatre/Fugard Theatre, 2010), Lovborg's Women (The Mechanicals, 2011), Once Upon a Laugh.
Awards, etc
Won the 1995/96 Cape regional FNB/Vita award for best actress in Elizabeth. She won the Edinburgh Fringe Festival best actress award in 2013 for her role in London Road.
