A one-person musical piece about Relebogilethata, a young girl from Mount Frere who dreams of stardom, while working as a waitress while going from one audition to the next, singing songs from well-known Broadway shows to the most powerful isiXhosa songs by Miriam Makeba.

Performance history in South Africa

2020: Produced by Wela Kapela Productions and performed at the National Arts Festival Fringe, directed by Amanda Bothma with Dikelo Mamiala (as Relebogilethata) and Jacques du Plessis as musical Director/pianist. Awarded a Silver Standard Bank Ovation Award.

2023: Performed in New York, winning Best Festival Debut – United Solo award.
