1974: Workshopped and staged by PACT Playwork at the Arena Theatre, Johannesburg, directed by Robin Malan, with Gerben Kamper (Oom Gobie), Ralph Mogridge (Cowboy Tex), Sarah McNair (Lucerne), Pieter Strydom (Chappie Tjoebs), Tarina Kleyn (Mollie McDougall), Gay Morris (Mattie van Gootch), Margaret Rosendorff (Girlie Venter), Elise Hibbert (Antie Gert) and Alwyn Swart (Bosso).
