He married Jenny Gratus in 1967.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He was the musical director for Joan Brickhill and Louis Burke’s production of The Minstrel Scandals (ACT, 1966). He directed Lock Up Your Daughters Other productions with Brickhill-Burke include Oklahoma!, The Boy Friend, Robert and Elizabeth, The Beggar's Opera, Minstrel Follies.
