Pierre Malan (1923-1998) was a music teacher and composer.
Also credited as Jacques Pierre Malan or J. Pierre Malan.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Besides his compositions and songs[1], he wrote a few musicals, and in the 1960s was encouraged by DALRO to produce works for schools and amateur groups, sometimes in association with the playwrights Anna Rudolph and Coenie Rudolph.
