The FynArts Festival is an annual arts festival held in Hermanus in the Western Cape.

The festival

The first festival was launched launch in 2013 and is packaged as a traditional festival offering performances, exhibitions and films, as well as a winter school (the Strauss & Co Series of presentations and interviews), various workshops, culinary demonstrations, book discussions and current affairs, food and wine tutored tastings.

The festival has also developed a range of ongoing projects with the main objective of promoting the arts in underserved communities through education and skills development. This also provides opportunities for practising and aspiring creatives across a range of disciplines to showcase their art.
