The farce, written in 1969, ran at the Garrick Theatre in London's West End from 15 October 1969 to 23 May 1970.

Published by English Theatre Guild, 1970.

Performance history in South Africa

1970: Academy Theatre production directed by Rex Garner at the Academy Theatre, Johannesburg, from 4 March 1970.

1974: Performed in the Bloemfontein Civic Theatre by The Comedy Players 8-11 May
