An adaptation by Henriëtta Gryffenberg of an original stage text, Wagters op die Mure by Ludwig Emil Gryffenberg, and renamed Die Ster van Bethlehem, it is telling the story of the birth of Christ, as seen through the eyes of a young and physically challenged shepherd, and his father. Adapted for radio under the title
