The '''Blue Fox''' was a theatre that had been set up in a converted restaurant in the Oxford Hotel, in the suburb of Rosebank, Johannesburg, in the early 1970s. Jerome Kilty’s ''[[Dear Liar]]'' was staged here, starring [[Diane Wilson]] and [[Hugh Rouse]], in 1972. [[The Company]] staged some of their shoestring budgeted shows here when they uesded it as a home for a while (e.g. to do plays such as ''[[Hello and Goodbye]]'' by [[Athol Fugard]], ''[[May Day Adventure]]'' by [[Janice Honeyman]], ''[[Antigone]]'' by Jean Anouilh, ''[[Twelfth Night]]'', by William Shakespeare), ** [[Pieter-Dirk Uys]]’ ''[[Pity About People]]'' was staged here in 1975.
