Nicho Aphane is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, composer and technician.

Biography

Born and raised in Johannesburg, he began training at the The Dance Factory age of 12. After completing school he joined P.J. Sabbagha's FATC (Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaborative) company for two years. He then auditioned for PARTS (the Performing Art Research and Training Studios) to study, graduating in 2010. During his studies he did several works within the curriculum and outside the curriculum, inter alia working with the choreographer and a dance teacher David Zambrano[1] He has gone on to work for various companies, individuals and festivals over the ensuing years.
